Navi Mumbai Crime: Businessman, out for morning walk, stabbed to death in Kalamboli area
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Kalamboli police registered a case of murder against an unidentified person for allegedly attacking a 48-year-old businessman in a garden in Kalamboli on Monday morning. The deceased was on a morning walk when he was attacked with a sharp edge weapon.
The deceased was identified as Jaspalsingh Khoya, a resident of Sainagar Society in sector 4 in Kalamboli and he was in the transport business.
Victim was out for a walk
According to police, Khoya was on a routine morning walk between 5 am and 6 am at CIDCO garden at sector 6 in Kalamboli, around one km from Kalamboli police station when an unidentified person brutally attacked him with a sharp edge weapon at his chest, head and other body parts and fled.

Khoya sustained severe injuries and fell into a pool of blood. He was taken to MGM Hospital in Kamothe. However, he died due to severe injuries. Soon after the incident, DCP zone two Pankaj Dahane, DCP Crime Amit Kale and other officials visited the site.
Later a case of murder against an unidentified person was registered at Kalamboli police station under section 302 of IPC. Meanwhile, the police are checking CCTV footage of the area to get more details of the accused.
