Navi Mumbai: CIDCO makes available plots for old age homes, special schools and social welfare

The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has come up with six plots for old age homes and special schools in four nodes of Navi Mumbai. These plots will be available on lease to registered trusts.

As per the social service department of CIDCO, these plots are available in New Panvel (w), Dronagiri, Kharghar and Karanjade. While New Panvel and Kharghar nodes have already developed, Dronagiri, and Karanjade nodes are in the developing stage.

Out of the 6 plots up for sale, three plots are available for Old Age Home, two for special school and one social welfare plot. The size of the plots ranges from 399 sqm to 1024 sqm and their base prices are between Rs 5960 to Rs 15,178.

“We have made available a large number of residential and commercial plots in the last one year. However, there have been demands for social facility plots and thus we have made them available in both developed nodes and developing nodes,” said an official from CIDCO’s Social Service Department.

Out of the six plots, three plots are available in sector 11, 14, and 20 of Kharghar node for an old age home, one social service and one for a special school. Similarly, New Panvel plot for an old age home is located at sector 12 and another old age home is located at sector 12 in Dronagiri. Karanjade node has a special school plot at sector 6.

Trusts registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 or the company act can apply for these plots and other details are available on www.cidco.maharashtra.gov.in.
