Mumbai: Two Cops Among Four Arrested For Kidnapping Andheri Paan Seller, Extorting ₹43,000 In Cash
Based on the complaint filed by Mohammed Arif Faizan Khan, 35, the police registered the case against the two constables, Hemant Kapse and Sagar Wagh, along with their associates Nitin Gadhve and Chandrashekar Darande.

Mumbai: The DN Nagar police arrested four persons, including two police constables from the Local Arms (LA) division, on June 26, for allegedly kidnapping a paan shop vendor in Andheri West and extorting Rs43,000 from him on June 24.
Based on the complaint filed by Mohammed Arif Faizan Khan, 35, the police registered the case against the two constables, Hemant Kapse and Sagar Wagh, along with their associates Nitin Gadhve and Chandrashekar Darande.
According to the FIR, at 4.45pm, an Ertiga car stopped at Khan’s stall, and Kapse and Wagh got out of the car and claimed to be officers from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). One of the accused told Khan that they had found gutkha in his possession and forcefully took him into the car, claiming they were taking him to the FDA’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus office to book him.
