Mumbai Tragedy: 30-Year-Old Labourer Dies After Falling From 3rd Floor At Wadala Construction Site; FIR Filed Against 3 For Negligence
A tragic accident occurred around 10 PM on Sunday at a construction site adjacent to Acworth Municipal Hospital for Leprosy in Wadala, where a 30-year-old labourer fell from the third floor and died. The deceased, Naresh Kushwaha, had reportedly gone to hang clothes to dry when he lost balance and fell.

Mumbai: A tragic accident occurred around 10 PM on Sunday at a construction site adjacent to Acworth Municipal Hospital for Leprosy in Wadala, where a 30-year-old labourer fell from the third floor and died. The deceased, Naresh Kushwaha, had reportedly gone to hang clothes to dry when he lost balance and fell.
Based on the complaint, the Matunga Police have registered a case against three individuals—Heeralal Doshi, a partner at Kinjal Civilcon LLP; site manager Madhavendra Singh; and labour contractor Sultan Singh. The FIR has been filed under charges of causing death due to negligence.
According to Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Pawar of Matunga Police Station, a labour camp had been set up on the third floor of the under-construction building, where Naresh Kushwaha resided.
