Mumbai: Technical Glitch Forces Central Railway To Run Non-AC Rakes As AC Services

A technical glitch in an air-conditioned suburban train rake disrupted several services on the Central Railway on Friday, forcing the railway authorities to operate with non-AC rakes for some scheduled AC services.
An official from Central Railway stated, “The CSMT-Dombivli AC local departing at 4:00 PM from CSMT, Dombivli-Parel AC local departing at 5:32 PM from Dombivli, Parel-Kalyan AC local departing at 6:45 PM from Parel, and Kalyan-Parel AC local departing at 8:10 PM from Kalyan were all operated with non-AC rakes due to the technical issue.”
