Mumbai: A shocking incident occurred in the Grand Road area on November 30. The victim's friend revealed the incident, leading to a case being filed on December 12 against the co-passenger under sections 78 and 79 of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) at the Gamdevi Police Station.
According to the police, on November 30, the victim, a college student, boarded a shared taxi to reach Grand Road railway station. During the journey, an unidentified co-passenger masturbates in front of the student. The entire incident was recorded by the student's friend, who was also in the taxi, and the footage went viral on social media.
After the video gained attention, Mumbai Police took action. Gamdevi Police, using technical investigation methods, traced the accused and are in the process of arresting him, as confirmed by a police officer.
