Mumbai: Sanjay Raut slams rebel MLAs who shook hands with BJP and formed government

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday slammed rebel MLAs who shook hands with BJP and formed a government. Raut said these MLAs should sit together and decide the reason for the revolt. According to Raut, initially, they were citing the reason of Hindutva. Later, they said NCP was not giving funds. Thereafter, they were making allegations about people who are around Uddhav Thackeray. Raut appealed to rebels to not get confused and to not confuse people. "You should sit together and decide," he added.

On Thursday, when a journalist asked him that rebel MLAs are alleging that because of Sanjay Raut they revolted, Raut Said, " Initially they cited reason of Hindutva. Thereafter, They alleged that Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) was not giving them funds. Later they alleged that Some people from the party interfered in their department. Now they blaming me. So, they should sit together and decide the reason first."

"If You left the party for the reason of Hindutva, then in 2014, we got elected on the Hindutva and without making an alliance with BJP." Said Raut.

"In 2019, BJP had broken promise hence, we made MVA government. At that time, where was your Hindutwa," said Raut. He further said, "I never interfere in any government work. I am active in Party work and express parties' thoughts. I am appealing to my old collogues not to get confused. I can understand your mental condition," Said Raut.

Further, Raut alleged that When the MVA government came into existence MLA Sandipan Bhumre, bowed down before me at the Saamana Newspaper office and said, "because of you we formed government in 2019 and we became ministers. You can see CCTV footage. MLA Sanjay Rathod was was with me till the last day and he knew how Uddhav Thackeray saheb stood behind him when he was in trouble."

Sandipan Bhumre refuted the claim made by the Raut he said that he just went there to greet him. He did not bow down before Raut.
