The Samta Nagar police on Friday detained a minor in connection with a case of gang rape of a 17-year-old girl. The incident occurred on January 6. According to the police, the accused and victim are acquaintances.
The victim alleges that the accused recorded her inappropriate videos and then called her to his residence, where two other accused were present. All three allegedly raped her.The victim was traumatized and initially didn't report the incident.

However, her parents eventually found out and brought her to the police station to file a complaint. Initially, the victim didn't mention the other two accused, but after being questioned by policewomen, she revealed the details.
The police have registered a case under the POCSO Act and Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita. Two accused, aged 19 and 22, were taken into custody, while the minor accused was detained.
