Samta Nagar police have registered a case against an unidentified man for allegedly harassing a 33-year-old businesswoman in the Lokhandwala Complex, Kandivali East, by forcibly attempting to take her photo and then chasing her.

Samta Nagar police have registered a case against an unidentified man for allegedly harassing a 33-year-old businesswoman in the Lokhandwala Complex, Kandivali East, by forcibly attempting to take her photo and then chasing her.
According to the FIR, registered on April 10, the victim had gone to drop her son off for tuition around 4pm on April 10. While returning home and walking along MHADA Road 1, an unidentified man approached her and asked to take her photo. Shocked by the sudden request from an unidentified person, she did not respond and continued walking toward her residence. However, the man followed her to her building. Frightened, she rushed home and confided in her husband.

Subsequently, the woman, accompanied by her husband, went to the police station. In her statement, she described the man as a youth between 22 and 25 years old, approximately 5.4ft tall, with a brown complexion. He was wearing a purple checked shirt and light-coloured white trousers.
