Mumbai News: IRCTC Launches Special Ayodhya–Prayagraj–Kashi Jyotirlinga Train Yatra From Dadar On August 14; Check Details
The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) has announced the launch of the Ayodhya–Prayagraj with Kashi Vishvanath Jyotirlinga Yatra by Chartered Coach, offering a spiritually enriching journey through three of India’s most revered pilgrimage destinations—Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) has announced the launch of the Ayodhya–Prayagraj with Kashi Vishvanath Jyotirlinga Yatra by Chartered Coach, offering a spiritually enriching journey through three of India’s most revered pilgrimage destinations—Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj. The exclusive tour will depart from Dadar on August 14, 2025, via Train No. 01027 and promises a seamless travel experience for devotees.
"Designed as a comprehensive 8-night/9-day pilgrimage, the tour includes 2nd AC chartered coach train travel, comfortable hotel stays, daily breakfast and meals, AC bus transfers for sightseeing, services of professional tour escorts, and travel insurance, all bundled into an all-inclusive package starting at Rs 34,700 per person (Triple Occupancy)" said an official.
Gaurav Jha, Group General Manager of IRCTC’s West Zone, Mumbai, said, “This 8-night/9-day yatra is a tribute to India’s rich spiritual heritage. It offers devotees a chance to visit sacred sites like Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Ram Janmabhumi, Hanuman Garhi, Triveni Sangam, and more, in a well-curated and affordable format.”
The itinerary includes prominent temples and holy sites across the three cities. In Varanasi, pilgrims will visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan Mandir, Bharat Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Kaal Bhairav Temple, and Sarnath. The Ayodhya leg of the tour covers Ram Janmabhumi, Lakshman Ghat, Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhavan Temple, and the Sharayu River. In Prayagraj, the tour includes Triveni Sangam and other local sightseeing attractions.
The return journey is scheduled via Train No. 01026 ensuring a comfortable and scenic rail travel experience. A total of 44 seats have been earmarked in 2nd AC for this chartered pilgrimage, and interested travelers are advised to book early due to limited availability.
