Mumbai News: Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization Celebrates May Day 2025, Felicitates Long-Serving Employees
The Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization (CRWWO), under the leadership of President, Asha Meena, celebrated May Day 2025 with great enthusiasm on 8th May 2025 at the New Officers’ Club, Nirmal Park, Byculla. The event was organized to honour the dedicated service of employees across Central Railway who have contributed over two decades of service.

Mumbai: The Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization (CRWWO), under the leadership of President, Asha Meena, celebrated May Day 2025 with great enthusiasm on 8th May 2025 at the New Officers’ Club, Nirmal Park, Byculla. The event was organized to honour the dedicated service of employees across Central Railway who have contributed over two decades of service.
A total of 24 employees from various divisions, workshops, and headquarters were felicitated during the event. Each awardee received a commendation certificate, a gift, and a cash award as a token of appreciation for their outstanding commitment. A special moment was the felicitation of the senior-most awardee, who has completed 39 years of distinguished railway service and was presented with a Good Luck Plant.
Awardees from across Central Railway were honoured during the event, including three from Nagpur Division, three from Pune Division, three from Bhusawal Division, two from Mumbai Division, five from Solapur Division, one from Matunga Workshop, and seven from Headquarters offices.
To add a festive touch to the occasion, various entertaining games and activities were organized for the awardees and their family members, creating a joyful and inclusive environment.
Babita Pandey, Secretary – CRWWO, delivered a motivational address, lauding the dedication of the awardees and extending heartfelt wishes for their continued well-being and happiness.
