Mumbai News: Bhojpuri Actor Duped Of ₹9.5 Lakh In Online Share Market Scam; Five Booked

Mumbai: The Bangur Nagar police have registered a case against five persons for duping a 51-year-old Bhojpuri actor, Sushil Gulab Singh, 51, of Rs9.5 lakh in an online share market fraud. The FIR, filed on May 25, also named a company named Algo Trade Investment for cheating, where the five accused are employed.
In February, the complainant, who resides in Goregoan West, was informed by a friend, a doctor, about the investment firm and claimed that he had also invested in the company and earned good profits. He advised Singh to speak with the company’s representatives and seek their guidance.
Later in the same month, a woman named Mahi Vyas contacted Singh and gave him information about share trading. Believing her, Singh invested the amount between February 9 and March 26.

On March 28, Singh’s Demat account showed a profit of Rs84 lakh. However, a few days later, when he re-checked, he found that he had incurred a loss. Alarmed, he tried contacting those involved, but received no response.
The accused mentioned in the FIR are Mahi Vyas, Akankasha Gupta, Ashi, Parag Dixit, Tushar Hemanshu and Algo Trade Investments company.
