Mumbai News: BEST Undertaking Wins Excellence Award For Energy Transition In Streetlight Electrification
Bilal Shaikh, Assistant General Manager (Electric Supply Division), and Suresh Makwana, Chief Engineer (Planning), received the trophy and certificate on behalf of BEST Undertaking at the event, which was attended by several distinguished dignitaries.
The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST Undertaking) has won the "Urban Local Body Excellence Award in Energy Transition – Streetlight Electrification" category at the 5th Green Energy and Energy Efficiency Awards 2025.
This prestigious award was presented by Anil Razdan, former Secretary of Power, Government of India, and Anil Kumar Jain, Chairman of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), on February 25, 2025, at Desire Hall, Le Meridien, New Delhi, during the 13th Green Energy Summit.
