Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a mentally ill man launched a violent attack on a police constable stationed at Selfie Point, Girgaon Chowpatty, on Thursday evening.
The victim, Constable Shivaji Ugle (35), who is attached to Malabar Hill Police Station, sustained serious head and back injuries after the attacker struck him with a stone from behind. He was immediately rushed to Wockhardt Hospital for treatment.
