Mumbai Horror: Newborn’s Body Found In Antop Hill Nullah; Police Register Case Under BNS Act
According to a complaint filed by Police Head Constable Vijay Kisanrao Ghankute, who is stationed at the Antop Hill Police Station, a boy named Asim informed the police at 12:20 PM on August 3 that he saw the body of a small child floating in the nullah.

The Antop Hill police have registered a case against an unknown person after the body of a newborn male infant was found in a nullah in Bengali Pura, Antop Hill, on August 3 at 12:30 PM. The police action was taken on charges of deliberately concealing the birth of the child and secretly disposing of the infant's body.
According to a complaint filed by Police Head Constable Vijay Kisanrao Ghankute, who is stationed at the Antop Hill Police Station, a boy named Asim informed the police at 12:20 PM on August 3 that he saw the body of a small child floating in the nullah.

Upon inspection, police found a newborn infant floating in the water. With the help of a local resident, Surya Kamble, the police retrieved the newborn from the nullah and took him to Sion Hospital. The medical officer on duty declared the infant dead.
The Police have registered a case under Section 94 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) Act.
