Mumbai Accident: 60-Year-Old Vendor Dies After Speeding BEST Bus Hits Him In Antop Hill; Case Registered Against Driver
The Antop Hill Police have registered a case against the bus driver, Nagesh Sambhaji Rane (30), and issued him a notice for questioning. According to police reports, the accident occurred on March 23 at around 4:40 PM. Saroj was transporting bananas on his handcart toward Antop Hill when the negligently driven bus hit him at high speed.

Mumbai: In a tragic incident at Antop Hill, a speeding BEST bus fatally struck 60-year-old Dukhilal Saroj while he was pushing a handcart. The Antop Hill Police have registered a case against the bus driver, Nagesh Sambhaji Rane (30), and issued him a notice for questioning.
According to police reports, the accident occurred on March 23 at around 4:40 PM. Saroj was transporting bananas on his handcart toward Antop Hill when the negligently driven bus hit him at high speed. The impact was so severe that Saroj was thrown a considerable distance, sustaining multiple critical injuries. He died on the spot due to the severity of his wounds.
