A 21-year-old man, Jayesh Shelke from Bhandup (West), was killed at Mulund railway station when a train struck him as he stood distracted by his phone at Platform 4 on Saturday morning.

A 21-year-old man was killed after being struck by a local train at Mulund railway station on Saturday morning. Jayesh Shelke, a resident of Bhandup (West), was standing at the edge of Platform 4 when the incident occurred. According to sources, Shelke was distracted by his phone and failed to notice the approaching train.
Despite the motorman sounding the horn, he remained unaware of the danger. Other passengers attempted to pull him back, but the train struck him, causing fatal injuries.
