Mumbai: 2 Bodies Found Hanging In Kandivali House; Police Launch Probe

The Samta Nagar police have recovered the bodies of two people from a house in the Kandivali area. The incident took place in Hanuman Nagar, Kandivali, and the deceased woman has been identified as Pushpa Dutt, 34.
Another deceased was the son of Pushpa Dutt, who was eight years old. The incident occurred on Monday between 7:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Pushpa's husband, Shivshankar Dutt, 40, a tempo driver, returned home and knocked on the door, but no one opened it. He peeped through a window and found that both his wife and son had hanged themselves.

According to the police, both bodies were found hanging inside the house. The police took their custody and sent them for post-mortem. Senior officers arrived at the scene as soon as they were informed about the incident.
The Samta Nagar police have begun an investigation into the matter. An accidental death report has been filed in the matter, said the police.
