Mumbai: 19-Year-Old Dies While Riding Triple Seat On Bike In Aarey Area
A 19-year-old male died in a mishap in the Aarey region on Sunday. He and two companions were riding a motorcycle when it crashed into a street lamp. Nitin Momla, the motorcyclist, lost his life in the accident.

A 19-year-old boy lost his life in an accident in the Aarey area on Sunday. He and two friends were on a motorcycle when it collided with a street light. Nitin Momla, who was driving the motorcycle, was killed in the accident.
According to the police, the accident occurred between 1.30am and 2am. The three were college students. They were travelling from Powai towards Aarey when, near Unit No 22, the slope combined with the high speed of the bike led to the collision.
The bike hit a pole, causing all three to fall. Momla, who was driving, sustained serious injuries to his body and head. The friends, with the help of bystanders, transported him to Seven Hills Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
The other two sustained minor injuries. A police officer stated, “Preliminary investigation did not suggest that the trio were intoxicated. However, as per legal procedure, the police collected blood samples from all three” The Aarey police have registered an accidental death report.
