At around 4.45 pm, the PM will open a new campus of Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah (The Saifee Academy), the primary educational institution of the Dawoodi Bohra community, at Marol in Andheri.

PM Modi to arrive in Mumbai at around 3 pm

PM Modi will reach the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai at around 3 pm to flag off two Vande Bharat trains.

At around 3:30 pm, he is expected to address the public from CSMT.

Traffic regulations come into force ahead of PM Modi visit

The traffic department has issued a notification informing residents of the regulations in effect in the vicinity of CST and Andheri between 2.45 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.

Traffic on the Eastern Freeway, P D'Mello Road, Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, and roads leading to these roads will be regulated and controlled from 2.45 pm to 4.15 pm in order to streamline traffic and avoid inconvenience to the general public.

Mumbai witnesses additional police deployment ahead of PM Modi's visit

Ahead of the flagging off of the Vande Bharat Express services on the Mumbai-Solapur and Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi routes in Maharashtra on Friday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Central Railway announced the fare structure.

The one-way fare without catering service on the CSMT-Solapur Vande Bharat train will be Rs 1,000 for chair car and Rs 2,015 for executive chair car, while the fares for the two classes with catering will be Rs 1,300 and Rs 2,365, respectively, a CR official said.
