Maharashtra SSC Results 2025: Navi Mumbai’s ETC Centre Achieves 100% Pass Rate For Specially-Abled Students

The ETC Divyang Education, Training and Service Facility Centre under the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has once again achieved a 100% pass rate in the SSC board examinations for the academic year 2024–25. A total of 19 specially-abled students from various divisions of the centre—including hearing-impaired, visually impaired, intellectually disabled, learning-disabled, and multi-disabled—appeared for the exam and all passed with commendable scores.

Kalyani Awate from the intellectually disabled section topped the centre with 85% marks. In this category alone, 14 students passed, including Vinayak Patil and Riya Shinde, who were supported through parental guidance provided by the ETC Centre. Other successful students in this category include Manthan Thorat, Dron Madhavi, Abdul Khan, Tejas Shetty, Vishlesh Kuvar, Mandar Randive, Tanmay Kalambe, Ayush Ghadge, Vinayak Chavan, Swara Padale, and Ishwari Dandage.

Maria Nagalekar from the hearing-impaired division secured 77.60%, while Nishad Dave excelled from the learning disability section. In the visually impaired category, Suraj Bhosale regularly attended the centre and succeeded, while Shravani Bore achieved her success through parental guidance. Soham Patil from the multi-disabled category also passed with flying colors.

Some of these students appeared for the exam through the English medium, while others did so through the Marathi medium. Alongside their academics, many of them also actively participated in extracurricular activities, said a spokesperson from NMMC.

Municipal Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde lauded the achievements of these students, emphasizing their determination and capability despite physical and cognitive challenges. ETC Centre Director and Deputy Commissioner Sangharatna Khilare expressed satisfaction over the results and conveyed her best wishes for the student's future, encouraging them to become self-reliant individuals.

"The success is credited to the collective efforts of ETC Centre’s teachers, therapists, and psychologists, who not only guided the students academically but also provided counseling and support to their parents, contributing significantly to this remarkable outcome," Dr Shinde said.
