Maharashtra News: Anti-Human Trafficking Unit Arrests 3 Bangladeshi Nationals Illegally Residing In Nalasopara Without Valid Documents
In a swift and coordinated operation, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Nalasopara has apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals who were found residing illegally in India without valid documents.

Palghar, Maharashtra: In a swift and coordinated operation, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Nalasopara has apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals who were found residing illegally in India without valid documents.
Acting on a tip-off received on May 8, 2025, the AHTU team was informed that several foreign nationals were unlawfully living in the Gaala Nagar area of Nalasopara East, under the jurisdiction of Achole Police Station in Vasai, Palghar district.
A police team, accompanied by independent witnesses and an interpreter, raided the location and apprehended three individuals: Abbu Gafar Ali Mandal (29), Kabir Riazuddin Sheikh (60), and Milon Shahanwaz Mandal (37).
During interrogation via an interpreter, the men admitted to being Bangladeshi nationals without legal authorization to stay in India. Based on their confession, a detailed report was prepared, and they were taken into custody.
