Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday and discussed various key issues concerning the state.
During the meeting, Fadnavis expressed gratitude to PM Modi for granting Maharashtra the opportunity to host the World Audio, Visual & Entertainment Summit in Mumbai from May 1 to 4. The CM also discussed the obstacles in the Nagpur airport expansion.

Additionally, he reiterated the need for swift fund allocation to local self-governing bodies under the 15th Finance Commission, to which the Prime Minister gave a favourable response. The CM urged the Central government to support Gadchiroli's development as a mining hub.
