Kalyan Railway Station Bomb Hoax Threat: Central Police Confirm False Alarm After 3-Hour Search
The Central Police in Ulhasnagar received a hoax bomb call for the Kalyan railway station on Monday night, said police officials. According to Central Police Station officials, an unidentified caller had alerted them about a bomb planted at the Kalyan railway station.

Thane: The Central Police in Ulhasnagar received a hoax bomb call for the Kalyan railway station on Monday night, said police officials. According to Central Police Station officials, an unidentified caller had alerted them about a bomb planted at the Kalyan railway station. The station was thoroughly checked, and the bomb call was found to be a hoax.
Shankar Awatade, Senior Police Inspector, said that "after receiving a call from an unidentified man about a bomb planted at Kalyan railway station, we alerted the railway police, senior officials of Thane police, and then the dog squads as well. The Kalyan railway station has been scanning for three hours. The station was given clearance to operate after an investigation and inspection. During the investigation, it was revealed that it was a hoax call. Therefore, we have registered a case against an unknown person who calle hoax information to us."
