Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line), one of the city's most anticipated infrastructure projects, has unveiled the first glimpses of some of its key stations, including Siddhivinayak, Dharavi, and Dadar. The pictures of the stations were shared by the Mumbai Metro 3 via X (formerly Twitter).

The newly released images showcase the impressive interiors of the stations, highlighting modern amenities such as escalators, spacious ticket counters, sleek design elements, and enhanced commuter facilities. The Metro 3 corridor aims to significantly reduce travel time and ease congestion in the heart of Mumbai.

Siddhivinayak Metro Station:

The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL), which is leading the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Metro Line 3 project, has shared the first glimpses of the much-anticipated Siddhivinayak Metro Station.

The station located near Mumbai’s iconic Siddhivinayak Temple and close to the bustling Dadar railway station, this metro stop is expected to offer massive convenience to daily commuters and devotees alike.

Dadar Metro Station:

Dadar metro station located in Mumbai’s busiest hub, showcases stunning interiors designed to handle massive daily footfall with ease.

From relocating shops and utilities to working through festivals and the pandemic, every detail of this station tells a story of precision, patience and persistence.

Shitala Devi Mandir Station:

Mumbai Metro Line 3 has unveiled an exclusive first look at the Shitladevi Metro Station, part of the Aqua Line.

The station situated near the Mahim area, this station lies between the Dadar and Dharavi metro stations, serving as a key stop along the corridor.

Dharavi Metro Station:

The Metro Line 3 shared exclusive images on X showcasing the newly built Dharavi Metro Station, a key part of the Aqua Line project.

Constructed using the cut-and-cover technique along the Mithi River, the station successfully tackled numerous challenges such as land acquisition, traffic management, and the shifting of various utilities during its development.

The Aqua Line, officially known as Metro Line 3, is set to become Mumbai’s longest metro corridor with 27 stations. Stretching from Colaba in South Mumbai to SEEPZ in Andheri, this underground line aims to transform daily commuting across the city.
