Mumbai: The anticipated Lollapalooza India 2025 event is scheduled to take place on March 8-9 at Mahalaxmi in Mumbai. Due to ongoing construction work near the venue, the Mumbai traffic police have advised fans to consider alternative transportation options.

If you are traveling from Thane or any station on the Central Railway to reach Mahalaxmi, here are some suggested routes. The Mumbai traffic police recommend that fans use local trains, monorails, and other public transportation options to avoid traffic congestion.

In a post on X, the Mumbai Police stated, "Looks like it’ll be an ‘eventful’ weekend at Mahalaxmi Racecourse and NSCI, Worli. Given that Arthur Road, Sant Ghadge Maharaj Road, and Senapati Bapat Road are partially under construction, expect slow traffic movement."

Check Routes To Reach Mahalaxmi From Central, Harbour and Western

Central Route

If you are traveling from Thane, Kalyan or any station on the Central route, you can take a train to Dadar station. After arriving at Dadar, you need to change platforms and head towards the western side. Once you are on the western platform, you can catch a train to Churchgate and then continue to Mahalaxmi. Alternatively, if you prefer not to change your route, you can go to Mahalaxmi from Byculla station. From Byculla, you can take a cab to reach Mahalaxmi. Additionally, the best buses are also available to get to Mahalaxmi.

For central route users, Chinchpokli is considered the nearest station to the Mahalaxmi Race Course (Royal Western India Turf Club) in Worli.

Western Route

If you are travelling from the Western route, such as from Bandra or Goregaon, you can reach Mahalaxmi directly without changing trains. To ensure you get the correct train, make sure to board the Churchgate local trains. It's important to take the slow trains, as the fast trains do not stop at Mahalaxmi station.

Harbour Route

If you are coming from the harbour route, such as Panvel or any other station, you can take a train from Panvel to Kurla. After arriving at Kurla, switch to the main line, like the CSMT train, and get down at Dadar station. From Dadar, you can take the western line train to Mahalaxmi. Alternatively, you can also travel from Thane to reach Dadar and then proceed to Mahalaxmi from there.
