Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited Jalgaon on Friday to perform Bhoomipujan of the 50-bed Sub-District Hospital’s Main Building and residential quarters at Dharangaon in Jalgaon. This important development will help improve healthcare services for the local population.
During his visit, CM Fadnavis also inaugurated the Krantikari Khajyaji Naik Memorial, paying his heartfelt respects to the revolutionary leader. He offered floral tributes at the Khajyaji Naik Memorial Temple in Dharangaon, honouring the memory and legacy of the great freedom fighter.
These initiatives reflect the state government’s focus on boosting rural healthcare, preserving history, and encouraging development in Jalgaon district. The inauguration and foundation-laying ceremonies mark an important step toward progress and respect for revolutionary heroes.
Many important leaders joined CM Fadnavis at the event, including Union Minister of State Raksha Khadse, Minister Girish Mahajan, Minister Gulabrao Patil, MP Smita Wagh, and MLA Mangesh Chavan, along with other dignitaries.
In addition to these events, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone online for several development projects at the Hindu Gor Banjara and Labana Kumbh Prerna Sthal in Godri. These projects aim to support and uplift the local communities, particularly the Banjara and Labana groups, with improved infrastructure.

He mentioned that, “Delays in land acquisition lead to cost escalations. All departments have been given specific timelines, and these must be strictly adhered to." He instructed officials to adopt a ‘mission mode’ approach, and he directed officials to treat the process with urgency, seriousness, and efficiency.
