Central Railway To Operate Midnight Mega Block Between Vidyavihar & Thane On August 16–17

The block will be operated on 5th & 6th lines between Vidyavihar and Thane stations from 00.40 am of 16/17 August 2025(Saturday/Sunday mid-night) to 04.40 am (early morning) of 17 August 2025(Sunday).

Central Railway Mumbai Division will operate Mid-night Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out various engineering and maintenance works on 16/17 August 2025 (Saturday/Sunday mid-night)

The block will be operated on 5th & 6th lines between Vidyavihar and Thane stations from 00.40 am of 16/17 August 2025(Saturday/Sunday mid-night) to 04.40 am (early morning) of 17 August 2025(Sunday).

Repercussions due to the Block will be as follows

Diversion of Down Mail & Express trains:

Following Down Mail & Express trains running on 5th line will be diverted on Down Fast line between Vidyavihar and Thane / Kalyan stations and handed over 10 to 15 minutes late during the block:

Train no 12811 LTT-Hatia Express,

Train no 22538 LTT-Gorakhpur Kushinagar Express,

Train no 11099 LTT-Madgaon Express

Diversion of Up Mail & Express trains:

Following Up Mail & Express trains running on 6th line will be diverted on Up Fast line between Kalyan/Diva and Vidyavihar stations and will arrive destination 10 to 15 minutes late during the block:

Train no 18030 Shalimar-LTT Express,

Train no 18519 Visakhapatnam-LTT Express,

Train no 20104 Azamgarh-LTT Superfast Express

Note: Mail / Express trains / Special Trains running late will be diverted as per operational requirement*

No Mega Block will be operated on Main line and Harbour / Trans Harbour Line during day time

These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
