Central Railway Announces Midnight Block For Electronic Interlocking Work At Thansit On August 16–17; Check Details Inside

Central Railway will operate Special Power and Traffic block for commissioning of Electronic Interlocking at Thansit station in connection with Kalyan-Kasara 3rd line work on 16/17 August 2025(Saturday/Sunday mid-night).

The block will be operated from 00.30 am of Saturday/Sunday mid-night to 05.15 am (early morning of Sunday.

Due to the block, several mail and express and suburban trains will pass with caution and authority, and may be delayed.

Affected Suburban Trains

The CSMT–Kasara local departing CSMT at 10:47 PM on 16th August 2025, and at 12:08 AM on 17th August 2025, might be delayed.

Similarly, the Kasara–CSMT locals departing Kasara at 3:51 AM and 4:59 AM on 17th August 2025 might also be delayed.

Regulation of UP Mail/Express Trains

Train no 12106 Gondia-CSMT Vidarbha Express will be regulated by 40 minutes

Train no 17058 Lingampalli-CSMT Devgiri Express will be regulated by 15 minutes.

Train no 12618 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Mangala Lakshwadweep Express and

Train no 12138 Firozpur-CSMT Punjab Mail will be delayed by 15 to 20 minutes.

According to an official, these infrastructure blocks are carried out in the larger interest of the passengers and the Nation. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
