Attention! BMC Announces 11-Hour Water Cut In Andheri West, Vile Parle On June 19–20 For Major Pipeline Repairs; Check Areas

The BMC will undertake crucial repair and replacement work on major water pipelines in Andheri (West) between June 19 and 20. As a result, residents in Andheri (West) and Vile Parle will face an 11-hour water supply disruption during this period.

On Thursday, the BMC’s Hydraulic Engineering Department will begin work on the repair of a 1,350 mm diameter flow control valve on the Bandra water pipeline, located beneath the Gopal Krishna Gokhale Bridge in Andheri (West). Simultaneously, a 900 mm diameter butterfly valve on the Versova water pipeline will also be replaced. The work will be carried out from 2 pm on Thursday to 1 am on Friday. 

During this period, there will be no water supply at Vile Parle (West) areas: Lallubhai Udyan, Lohia Nagar, Parle Gaothan, Milan Subway, Juhu Vile Parle Development Scheme (J.V.P.D. Scheme), Juhu Gaothan No. 03, V.M. Road. Moragaon : (J.V.P.D.): Areas: Moragaon, Juhu Gaothan Nos. 01 & 02, Vile Parle (West). Gilbert Hill Andheri (West): Areas: Juhu Galli, Dhangarwadi, Sagar City Society, Andheri (West).
