'Act Now Or Perish': Free Press Journal & Other News Publications In Mumbai Receive Bomb Threat For Operation Sindoor Coverage
Soon after the mail was received, a team of Mumbai police, along with officers from the Maharashtra ATS, rushed to the headquarters of Free Press Journal in Mumbai and performed the safety protocol.

Mumbai: Several print media publications, including The Times of India, Hindustan Times, DNA, Indian Express, The Asian Age, and Free Press Journal, received bomb threats via email on Monday evening at 18:52 IST for 'Support for India's aggressive stance against Pakistan'.
Soon after the mail was received, a team of Mumbai police, along with officers from the Maharashtra ATS, rushed to the headquarters of Free Press Journal in Mumbai and performed the safety protocol. The police checked the entire premises and initiated an investigation to trace the origin of the email.
The email which was received from an ID 'fakenewsmustgo' read, "Attention all traitorous media outlets: This is a coordinated message to The Times of India, Hindustan Times, DNA, Indian Express, The Asian Age, and Free Press Journal. We have placed IEDs in each of your headquarters."
The mail further read, "These devices are set to detonate at an undisclosed time. Evacuate your buildings immediately or face certain death. Your biased and misleading reporting in support of India's actions against Pakistan will not go unanswered."
The mail also said that the threat was issued for support for India's aggressive stance against Pakistan, "You have consistently spread propaganda and false narratives that fuel hatred and violence. This is your final warning. Act now or perish. Your support for India's aggressive stance against Pakistan has made you targets. Prepare to face the consequences of your actions. The clock is ticking, and your time is running out." The mail was in Marathi as well as English.
