Aaditya Thackeray’s close aide Amey Ghole resigns from treasurer's post of Yuva Sena, likely to switch to Shinde’s camp
As BMC elections are expected to be held this year, ex corporator Ghole's resignation is of significance.

In a major jolt to the Uddhav Thackeray faction, Amey Ghole, one of the trusted and close associates of Aditya Thackeray, left the Shiv Sena (UBT) and Yuva Sena to join hands with Eknath Shinde.
Ghole was a corporator from ward number 178, F/North ward of Wadala.
In a letter to Aaditya, he alleged that former Mayor Shraddha Jadhav and Shiv Sena secretary Suraj Chavan created hurdles in his work. “Many times, I had brought it to your notice but there wasn't any solution. I had tried to solve the dispute in the organisation. Eventually I have to left the Yuva Sena with a heavy heart,” Ghole stated in his letter.
He added that he had come into politics because of Aaditya and he was the one who had shown trust in him and given him the opportunity to work for Yuva Sena. “My friendship with Aaditya is not limited to politics and I expect to continue the friendship in future,” he said.
Ghole was head of the health committee and law committee of BMC. There was a discussion in political circles that Ghole was disappointed with the functioning of the Yuva Sena. From last year, he had started skipping the party's meetings and rallies.
Ghole was reportedly disappointed with the erstwhile MVA government's decision to make 236 electoral wards in Mumbai for BMC election.
Ghole while speaking to FPJ said, “I had tried a lot to resolve the internal dispute but couldn't succeed. Eventually, I had to leave the party. Now, I am joining the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena".
Reacting to the Ghole's allegations, former Mayor Shraddha Jadhav said, "I had no issues with Amey. The person who wants to leave the party requires a reason to do so."
