In a tragic incident, a 16-year-old boy died by suicide after hanging himself in Maharashtra’s Solapur on Friday. Shivsharan Bhutali Talkoti had lost his mother three months ago. Grieving her demise, the boy took his own life at his maternal uncle’s home.
According to police, the boy left behind a suicide note in which he stated that his mother had appeared in a dream and asked him to "come to her."
Explaining his reasons, Shivsharan wrote in the note, "I am dying because I don’t want to live. I should have left when my mother did, but I stayed alive for the sake of my uncle and grandmother. The reason for my death is that my mother came to me in a dream yesterday. She asked me why I was so upset and told me to come to her. So I decided to end my life. I am very grateful to my uncle and grandmother for their love and support. They pampered me a lot."
In the note, the boy also urged his uncle not to send his grandmother to his father’s house.
