Shree Vadanbailu Padmavati Devi Temple is a beautiful divine Jain shrine situated in between the evergreen gerusoppa forests and adjacent to gerusoppa backwaters.

The temple is located in the Vadanbailu village of Karnataka's Shimoga district, near Jog Falls.

The best thing about this place is the nature.

The famous Padmavati temple is well known to everyone for its greatest blessings.

Devotees visit the temple all year around.

To enter this temple location, you need to obtain nominal permission at the checkpoint (the checkpoint is 5km before the temple).

The accommodation facility is limited and breakfast lunch dinner facility is available for all visitors. 

Shree Vadanbailu Padmavati Devi Temple is open on all days from 7am to 7pm.

How to reach the temple?

Vadanbailu is located on the banks of the river Shravathi, at a distance of 393 km from Bengaluru and 11 km from Jog falls.

You can reach the destination by using various means of transport.

Bus

The first route to reach Vadanbailu is via Shimoga.Take a bus from Bengaluru to Shimoga, which is at a distance of 278 km.

From Shimoga take a bus to Vadanbailu. Distance between Shimoga and Vadanbailu is 97 km.

The second alternative to reach Vadanbailu from Bengaluru is to travel via Sagar which is at a distance of 352 km, however the buses are not frequent.

Train

The train journey is considered the most efficient way to reach Vadanbailu, howerver there is no direct train and you need to catch a bus nearby.

Take a Shivamogga Town – Yesvantpur Intercity Express from Bengaluru and get down at Shimoga railway station.
