While several prominent Ganpati mandals have completed their Aagman Sohlas over the past few weeks, one of the city's most awaited reveals is still under wraps, Lalbaugcha Raja.

With Ganesh Chaturthi falling on September 14, devotees are eagerly waiting for the first glimpse of this year's Lalbaugcha Raja. The mandal's official website confirms that the 2026 Ganeshotsav will be celebrated from September 14 to September 25.

Will Lalbaugcha Raja Be Revealed On September 12?

Several posts and discussions circulating on social media are pointing towards Saturday, September 12, as the tentative date for the much-awaited first look. However, the date has not been officially confirmed by the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal yet.

The speculation has nevertheless sent devotees into a frenzy, with many eagerly waiting to see what Bappa's grand 2026 darbar will look like. The reveal is expected to be particularly significant as Lalbaugcha Raja traditionally keeps its main idol and elaborate decor away from public view until the festival approaches.

Temple-Like Pandal Creates Curiosity

While the final theme remains a mystery, glimpses of the ongoing preparations have already surfaced online. Recent visuals show a massive temple-inspired structure taking shape at the pandal, complete with an imposing entrance and intricate architectural elements.

The biggest talking point, however, is a giant trishul positioned above the temple-like structure. The striking element has immediately fuelled speculation among devotees that this year's concept could have a connection with Lord Shiva.

At the same time, it is important to note that the mandal has not officially announced the final theme, so the Shiva connection remains speculation based on the visuals emerging from the venue.

Preparations are also underway around the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja Galli, where a large overhead structure and extensive lighting arrangements are reportedly being installed.
