Video: Woman Consumes Rat Poison & Pours Petrol On Herself In Indore After Husband’s Alleged Affair With Other Woman

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A woman attempted self-harm by consuming poison and pouring petrol on herself in Indore on Friday. A video of the incident was recorded, which is now circulating widely on social media.

The incident is from the old police control room in the Chhoti Gwaltoli area.

The recorded video shows the woman unconscious and struggling to stand, while officials at the scene tried to assist her and prevent further harm.

According to information, she alleged her husband’s affair with another woman had caused her immense distress, including physical abuse and emotional trauma.

Despite filing complaints at various places, she claimed no action was taken, leading to her drastic step.

The witnesses, who noticed the woman’s alarming actions, immediately informed the nearby police officers. Responding promptly, the police arranged for her to be rushed to MY Hospital for emergency treatment.

At the hospital, doctors confirmed the severity of her condition, caused by consuming poison and attempting to set herself on fire.

The local authorities are now thoroughly investigating the case, focusing on the woman’s claims about her husband’s affair and the alleged abuse she endured. Meanwhile, the viral video has drawn significant public attention to the incident.
