Shocker! 2 Labourers Die After Tunnel Wall Caves In Amid Heavy Rain Near Indore
Authorities have started an investigation to determine whose negligence led to the incident.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Two labourers died after a wall of an under-construction tunnel caved in amid heavy rains in Indore on Wednesday.
One labourer died on the spot, while the other passed away during treatment at the hospital.

According to officials, construction work on the tunnel was ongoing when the incident happened. Due to the rain, a large portion of soil caved in, trapping two workers.
One of the deceased has been identified as Vikas, son of Lato alias Gokaran Rai, aged 29, from Jhoka Vermasiya village, Rajdhanwar police station area, Giridih district, Jharkhand.
The incident occurred early this morning, around 4 AM, after a part of the outer wall of Tunnel Number 3, under construction by Megha Company near Choral, Madhya Pradesh, collapsed due to heavy rain.
Following the incident, police registered a case under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and his body has been sent to Indore District Hospital for post-mortem.
The second victim, Lalji Kaul, was a resident of Singrauli district. He was seriously injured in the collapse and was first taken by company staff to Jeevan Jyoti Hospital in Tejaji Nagar.
From there, he was referred to MY Hospital, Indore, where he later died during treatment.
Authorities have started an investigation to determine whose negligence led to the incident.
Officials are also examining whether safety rules were followed during construction, especially in bad weather conditions.
