Dewas (Madhya Pradesh): The auspicious nine days of Shardiya Navratri have drawn to a close, marked by the joyous celebration of this festival.
Devotees in every household participated in worship, with Mata Rani being venerated and served at various prominent locations throughout the nine days.
As the nine-day period concluded, the traditional ritual of bidding farewell to Mata Rani was observed, which involved performing havan and puja ceremonies.
The local administration, led by collector Rishav Gupta, has been vigilant in ensuring the smooth execution of Navratri festivities at Mata Tekri.
Furthermore, the Municipal Corporation team, guided by commissioner Rajneesh Kasera, undertook a thorough cleaning campaign, especially on the significant roads, on the night of Ashtami.
Deputy finance commissioner Puneet Shukla and Devbala Piplania were entrusted with overseeing the arrangements for the immersion of Goddess. A designated immersion site at Kalu Khedi Pond has been prepared for this purpose.
The Municipal Corporation team is actively managing the proceedings, ensuring that the farewell and immersion of Mata Rani adhere to the established protocols.
In a heartwarming gesture, commissioner Rajneesh Kasera, along with his family, hosted a special feast for girls in the form of nine mothers at his residence. The girls were not only worshipped but also offered a meal, marking a lovely tradition and a beautiful conclusion to the Navratri festivities.
