Bhikangaon (Madhya Pradesh): Hundreds of pipes meant for Binjalwada Lift Irrigation project were found being loaded onto a truck from the installation location on Monday, raising suspicion.
BJP Mandal president Sevak Ram Birla arrived at the scene to investigate after receiving reports of unusual activity. Upon his arrival, the truck driver and his companions fled, leaving behind the vehicle and the loaded pipes.
The incident took place between the villages of Poi and Sagur Bhagur, where the pipes had been stored for over a month. Due to the area's low population, the loading was being done discreetly. Birla, noticing the irregularities, immediately informed the local administration.
