Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) will conduct the first phase of its Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam 2024 on June 1. The exam will be held for over 1,500 posts across 16 subjects, with around 45,000 candidates expected to appear across the state.
Indore will serve as a major exam hub, hosting 32,000 candidates at 87 centres across the city.
The exam will cover a wide range of subjects including Physics, Botany, Zoology, Political Science, English, Hindi, Mathematics and Geography. In addition to the assistant professor posts, recruitment exams for the positions of sports officer and librarian will also be conducted on the same day.
The second phase of the recruitment drive is scheduled for July 27, which will include exams for another 12 subjects such as Yogic Science, Vedas, Urdu, Statistics, Sanskrit Grammar, Music and Computer Applications.
Selection lists out for assistant professor, principal grade posts
Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the much-awaited selection list for five posts of Assistant Professor in the subject of Military Science, as part of the 2022 recruitment drive. This move has paved the way for the release of selection lists for other subjects, including English, which are now expected to follow soon.
In addition to the assistant professor posts, the MPPSC has also released the final selection list for 198 other posts, including those under the Principal Grade category. These posts are part of the 2023 recruitment process, which included ITI Principal and various other key positions in technical education.
The selection list for Principal Grade positions was prepared based on the written examination held on November 23, 2023, followed by interviews conducted earlier this year.
