Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The police has intensified inspections of hotels, lodges, and guest houses across the city. The initiative aims to ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
All hospitality establishments have been instructed to submit guest details, especially of outstation visitors, to their respective police stations.

However, during a routine inspection led by DCP Zone-2 Amrendra Singh and ACP Khajrana Kundan Mandloi, Hotel President Park, located on Kanadia Bypass, was found in violation of the directive.The hotel had failed to report the stay of two guests to the local police station. As a result, a case under Section 223 of the BharatiyaNyayaSanhita (BNS) was registered against the hotel manager, Sanjay Sarkar.
Police officials have reiterated that non-compliance with security mandates will not be tolerated. The inspection drive will continue in the coming days, with authorities maintaining close vigilance to ensure complete adherence to safety norms across the city.
