Love affair goes sour over returning car; injured ASI out of danger; TI's body taken to Tarana
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In the shooting incident outside the old police control room, the police recorded the statement of the injured lady ASI involved in the case. She stated that she had bought a car six months ago and the car was being driven by TI Hakam Singh Pawar for a few months. They were discussing the same issue in the Coffee House after which Pawar opened fire on her and later he shot and killed himself.
Investigating officer SI KK Sharma from Chhoti Gwaltoli police station said that the condition of the woman is stated to be out of danger and she is undergoing treatment in a city hospital. In her statement, she informed the police that she had bought the second hand car and it was being driven by Pawar and he was not returning her car. She was asking him to return the car and they had an argument over it. After coming out of the Coffee House, Pawar opened fire on her and he later shot himself. She received an injury on her ear. On the basis of the statement given by the injured woman, the police are investigating the case further. The statements of other policemen posted with the lady ASI are also being taken by the police, SI Sharma added.
It is said that Pawar came to the city on a two day leave from Bhopal, and he met the woman ASI at Coffee House.
