Indore Youth Murdered After His Bike Accidentally Touches Passing Two-Wheeler; 7 Juveniles Among 9 Held

Indore: Seven Juveniles Among 9 Held For Youth's Murder, The Deceased Along With His Two Friends Were Returning From Ujjaini | FPJ
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Nine people, including seven minor boys, were detained in connection with the murder of a youth over a petty issue in Khudel area. Police claimed that the accused were unidentified and they had to examine about 80 CCTVs in the area to identify and arrest them within 48 hours of the incident.
According to SP (Rural) Hitika Vasal, Salman Khan, a resident of Nayta Mundla area, was stabbed by some people in Kampel area on Sunday. Salman and his two friends were returning from Ujjaini when their bike hit the two-wheeler of other youths. During the road rage, their accomplices also reached the spot and they thrashed Salman and his friends.
Meanwhile, one of them took a knife and attacked Salman and his friends and they fled the scene. Salman got critically injured in the incident so his friends immediately took him to a hospital on Bypass Road where he died during treatment. One of his friends also received an injury but his condition is stated to be out of danger.

It was a challenge for the police to identify the accused as they were unidentified.
Under the guidance of DSP (headquarters) Umakant Chowdhary, a team of SI Devesh Pal, SI Satyendra Sisodiya, ASI Prakash Parmar and others was constituted for the investigation and to arrest the accused.
The team had to examine about 80 CCTVs of the spot and other places to identify the accused on the basis of their vehicle number. Police also gathered information about the accused from the people and managed to arrest them.
The accused Chetan and Jay, the residents of Rajnagar area of the city and their seven minor friends were caught in connection with the incident. They allegedly confessed their crime after which the knife used in the crime and their vehicles were recovered by the police. Further investigation is on into the case.
