Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Over 300 industrialists of the city on Friday lodged their complaint with IMC Commissioner Shivam Verma about the misbehavior of IMC staff with industrialists.
Yogesh Mehta, president of Association of Industries Madhya Pradesh (AIMP), informed that the entire industrialists fraternity is hurt by the misbehavior done by the revenue employees of IMC Zone No. 17 with Sudhir Vora, director of export unit Zest Pharma located in Sanwer Road Sector F.
The IMC employee misbehaved over the issue of property tax recovery. Mehta, while submitting a memorandum to the IMC commissioner, said that even after discharging the tax responsibilities, the industrialist had to face harassment and bullying by IMC employees.
The commissioner immediately asked the officers to conduct a departmental inquiry in this case and submit a report and ordered the suspension of Rahul Kulkarni, who misbehaved with industrialist.
Mehta also talked about changing the investigation officer to conduct a fair investigation in this case, the municipal commissioner accepted it and asked additional commissioner Abhilash Mishra (IAS) to submit a report soon along with the order to hand over the responsibility.
The Municipal Commissioner also talked about giving the responsibility of redressing industrial cases to the additional commissioner revenue.
