Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Indore became the spiritual epicentre of a global movement as the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) hosted Vishwa Navkar Mantra Diwas on Wednesday. The event witnessed mass chanting of the sacred Navkar Mantra by millions across 108 countries, with live broadcasts from over 6,000 Jain temples and spiritual centres, including several key locations in Madhya Pradesh.
The city’s atmosphere turned devotional as thousands gathered at multiple venues to chant in unison, led by JITO Indore Chapter. The event began with shankhnaad and soulful bhajans, creating a spiritually charged environment.

Adding to the significance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the gathering via video message, praising the mantra’s power and describing it as “a guide from self to society.” He emphasised its relevance in today’s world as a source of inner strength and peace.
Indore MP Shankar Lalwani and MP Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya were present at the city event. JITO Indore President Vimal Ghodawat called it a “global spiritual awakening,” while other members highlighted the mantra’s role in spreading positive energy.
