Indore (Madhya Pradesh): An FIR was registered against colonizers Atul Surana, Arun Dagaria and Pushpendra Thakur on Thursday, after the authorities received a number of complaints about gross irregularities in the development of Green Life City located in Bihadia village of the district. To note, collector Asheesh Singh had received several complaints against these colonizers.
Additional collector Gaurav Benal informed that after several complaints about Green Life City Colony located in Bihadia village developed by these colonizers, revenue staff and SDO were directed to register an FIR immediately.
After investigation, it came to light that plots in the colony were sold without receiving permission from the Town and Country Planning (TNCP) Department. It was also found that the colony was developed after almost 12 years of getting colony development permission on September 17, 2012, and out of 32 plots mortgaged in Colony Cell, 10 were sold in an unauthorized and illegal manner.

Work worth more than Rs. 3.50 crore is still pending in the colony. A thorough investigation also revealed that the colonizers were involved in illegal activities and fraud and were released from jail one-and-a-half years ago.
According to official information, following the complaints and investigation, the process of sale and purchase of the general plots in Satellite Enclave Colony which have not been sold by the colonizers, the mortgaged plots and name transfer have been banned with immediate effect till further orders.
Official sources informed that an FIR was lodged on Thursday by the sub-divisional officer (SDO) Revenue Section, Bichauli Hapsi against colonizers Atul Surana, Arun Dagaria and Pushpendra Thakur on behalf of Satellite Enclave Pvt. Ltd. under sections 420, 406 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code 1960 and Rule 19 (2) of Madhya Pradesh Gram Panchayat (Development of Colonies) Rules 2014.
