Indore (Madhya Pradesh): An excise department team, led by sub-inspector BD Ahirwar, conducted a surprise operation on Wednesday, raiding an illegal liquor establishment on MG Road near Treasure Island Mall, which was allegedly operating with the involvement of a police constable posted in Vijay Nagar police station. Meanwhile, the woman operator of the establishment has accused constable Amit Agrawal of Vijay Nagar police station, of misconduct. She claimed that the constable had been threatening her with false complaints and pressuring her into a physical relationship.
Additionally, he allegedly forced a partnership in the establishment through a friend by investing money. Now, he is trying to stop her from operating the establishment. Some videos related to the matter have also surfaced. ACP Aditya Patle said that after receiving information via social media, the headquarters took cognisance of the matter and initiated an investigation.
