Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The man arrested by police from Chanderi in Ashok Nagar district for the murder of his wife and infant son told police that he killed his wife following a domestic dispute and murdered his son because the child was blind.
The bodies of the 25-year-old woman and her one-and-a-half-year-old son were found with injury marks near the railway track in the Banganga area on Wednesday evening. Both were allegedly killed with a hard, blunt object.
The deceased were identified as Rani Pal (25) and her infant son. During the investigation, the role of the woman’s husband Jayram Pal appeared suspicious and he was subsequently arrested from Chanderi.
During preliminary interrogation, the accused allegedly told police that frequent disputes with his wife over her frequent visits to her maternal home and not cooking meals led to the murder.After killing her, he also murdered their blind son. Further investigation is underway.
