Indore: Class 12 Student Consumes Poison, Informs Friend; Dies | Representative Image
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 17-year-old girl died by suicide after consuming a poisonous substance at her home under Bhanwarkuan police station area on Friday.
After taking the poison, she informed one of her friends about the incident. By the time the friend reached her house, her condition had worsened. She was rushed to a hospital, where she died during treatment.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Avni Singh, a resident of Vidya Nagar. She was a Class 12 student. After returning from school, she told her friend on phone that she had consumed poison. He immediately rushed to her home and took her to hospital, but she could not be saved.

The reason behind the extreme step remains unclear, as no suicide note was found at the scene. Police have launched an investigation, and a post-mortem of the deceased was conducted.
