Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Dawoodi Bohra community celebrated the 79th Independence Day with patriotic spirit. In line with the vision of his holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the community actively engaged in environmental conservation and social welfare initiatives, reaffirming their loyalty, affection and commitment to the nation.
Indore media in-charge Mazhar Hussain Sethjiwala and member Burhanuddin Shakruwala informed that the celebrations took place at Saifi Nagar Masjid premises in the presence of a large number of community members, including Sheikh Taher Bhai Sethjiwala, Sheikh Baqir Bhai Dawaiwala, Sadiq Khan, Firoz Cyclewala, Jouhar Manpurwala, Murtaza Mithaiwala and Burhan Rajgarhwala.

Chief guest Sheikh Saifuddin Bhai Khambati hoisted the national flag at Saifi Nagar Masjid premises. The tricolour was saluted, followed by the national anthem. The Burhani Guards Scout Band performed the national tunes, adding a musical tribute to the occasion. The Dawoodi Bohra community also hoisted the national flag at community centres and schools, spreading the message of unity and patriotism across the city.
